Major Grants Awarded for Development Projects

Story written by: Gary Demuth, Salina Journal The next three years are going to be a prosperous time for local artists and residents of north Salina, thanks to a financial windfall from the Greater Salina Community Foundation. The Foundation, through the Dane G. Hansen Foundation Community Grant Fund and the Fund for Greater Salina, has awarded large, multi-year grants to two Salina development projects. Assaria Community Fund Accepting Grant Applications

The Greater Salina Community Foundation is accepting grant applications for the Assaria Community Fund.  Grants are limited to charitable grants that improve the quality of life for citizens of Assaria, KS. Grant requests may not exceed $1,500. All grant applications are due June 1 and must be submitted through the Foundation's online grant system to be considered.
