Staffing updates at community foundation

The Greater Salina Community Foundation announces the following position change and new hires:

Brandee Mayginnes is now the foundation’s director of grants and scholarships. In this role, she will oversee all scholarship and grant cycles and work with nonprofits to help them grow as grant writers, big thinkers and impactors. Mayginnes has been with the foundation since December 2016, previously serving as the grants and scholarships management assistant.

 

 

 

Jessica Fuller is the foundation’s new grants and scholarships coordinator. A Salina native, Fuller has a bachelor’s degree in biology and a minor in chemistry from Kansas Wesleyan University. In her new role, Fuller will assist grant and scholarship applicants, review applications and work with the grants and scholarships committees. Fuller previously served as Kansas Wesleyan’s assistant director of admissions for seven years.

 

 

 

Valerie Johnson has joined the foundation as a part-time administrative assistant. A native of LaCrosse, Kansas, Johnson is a graduate of Kansas State University. In her new role, she will provide administrative support to the foundation. Prior to joining GSCF, she worked in a number of administrative roles, primarily in Wichita.
