About Brookville Community Foundation
The mission of the Brookville Community Foundation is to give back to Brookville, Kansas, in order to preserve and grow it for this generation and for generations to come, giving those who grew up here a reason to stay and to inspire others to come to Brookville.
The Brookville Community Foundation is made up of a local advisory board that operates under the umbrella of the Greater Salina Community Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity. BCF oversees the following funds:
- Brookville Community Foundation Fund, a flexible field of interest fund that enables BCF to respond to current and future needs of the Brookville community. Grants from this fund vary in size and are directed by BCF. Donate online now!
- Brookville Community Foundation Legacy Fund, a permanently endowed fund that will grow over time, providing long-term support to preserve and grow Brookville, Kansas. Grants from this fund are restricted to an annual spendable up to 5%. Donate online now!

Local Impact
Since the Brookville Community Foundation Fund was established in 2021, it has granted over $300,000 to the community, supporting the following projects:
- New Scoreboard at Ell-Saline Middle/High School
- Brookville Park Project complete with new walking trail and bathrooms
- Playground at Ell-Saline Elementary Preschool
- New Brookville Highway Signs

New Ell-Saline Middle/High School Score Board

The Brookville Community Foundation raised over $213,000 for a new state-of-the-art digital scoreboard at the Ell-Saline Middle/High School Football Stadium through the BCF Scoreboard Fund. The scoreboard will also be used to serve as a platform to recognize the achievements of students and staff members and host events such as community movie nights.
