Responsive Grants

What are Responsive Grants?

Responsive Grants are smaller, meaningful grants intended to help nonprofits strengthen core programs and take the next step toward long-term impact.  These grants require a shorter grant application with a maximum award amount of $2,500.

 

What do the funds support?

  • Grants are intended to support (however not limited too): 
    • Program initiatives or enhancement
    • Resource centers for the community
    • Outreach efforts to increase participation in existing programs 
    • Materials for mental health, youth development or senior services programs
    • Adaptive equipment for training and emergency preparedness

Who's eligible to apply?

Grants are limited the Saline County area (with some exception).

  • 501(c)(3)
  • Education
  • Government
  • Religious Organizations

 

Application Timeline

There are six Responsive grant cycles available each fiscal year.  Applications will be accepted within the timelines listed below:

  • July 1 - August 1
  • September 1 - October 1
  • November 1 - December 1
  • January 1 - February 1
  • March 1 - April 1
  • May 1 - June 1
