Where does the money come from?

  • Individuals or organizations that do not fall into one of the above institutions are encouraged to partner with a fiscal agent in one of those categories.
    • If that is not possible, please contact the community foundation to see if your project still qualifies and if there are additional reporting requirements.
  • Grants are limited to projects or programs that benefit the community of Saline County, KS, with the following exceptions:
    • Projects supporting early childhood care, education & development in Ottawa County, KS.
    • GSCF Founding Donors outside of Saline County, such as Bethany College and Bethany Home Association, are eligible to receive funding from the Fund for Greater Salina.

Do I need to fill out more than one application?

No. Applicants fill out one application, and a grants committee reviews each application and determines which fund is the best funding fit based on that fund's criteria.
