    SALINA, Kan.—As a local youth baseball coach, Jason Wells has seen families struggle to support their child’s love of the game, due to the rising cost of youth sports. Applications open February 1, with deadlines of February 15, March 15, April 15 and May 15, 2024.

    SALINA, Kan.— The Greater Salina Community Foundation recently awarded over $45,000 to 11 charitable projects and organizations in Saline County through its competitive fall grant cycle.

  • Over $200,000 in student scholarships available

    SALINA, Kan.—The Greater Salina Community Foundation is now accepting scholarship applications for the 2024-2025 school year.

    This year more than $200,000 will be distributed to area students through the foundation’s 34 scholarship funds. Eligible scholarship applicants include graduating high school seniors, current college students and non-traditional students.

    SALINA, Kan.— The Greater Salina Community Foundation recently awarded over $70,000 to 14 charitable projects and organizations through its competitive summer grant cycle.

    This year's grant recipients include funding towards increasing child care capacity, improving access to food assistance, youth programs and helping give people second chances through various social service initiatives.
