Make Your Mark Awards

"Make Your Mark," means to accomplish something that will be remembered or have a beneficial influence on the future.

The Make Your Mark Awards honor individuals, businesses and nonprofits who are "making their mark," in our community through philanthropy in five different categories: Legacy, Contemporary, Professional Advisor, Business and Nonprofit.

The award was started in honor of the Foundation's 25th anniversary, and each recipient chosen in 2024 was chosen based on their philanthropic contributions and involvement in the founding or sustaining of the Foundation.

Award Criteria

• The Legacy Award honors individuals whose contributions through the Foundation will be remembered for shaping a better community.
• The Contemporary Award recognizes individuals whose work through the Foundation will have a beneficial influence on the future.
• The Nonprofit Award recognizes nonprofits that provide exemplary service to the community through the year as evidenced by their collaborative efforts and dedication to their mission.
• The Business Award is given to a business that has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to generous civic and charitable giving in our community.
• The Professional Advisor Award is given to a professional advisor or firm who provides exemplary service to members in our community in the realm of charitable giving.
