Professional Advisor Award: Advantage Trust Company | Mark Miller and Julie Sager Miller

Mark Miller and Julie Sager Miller co-founded Advantage Trust Company in 1997 and have partnered with the Foundation since it was established in 1999. Mark is one of the original ten members to help establish the Foundation, and served on the board for six years, with two additional years as member-at-large on the governance committee. During his time on the board he served as the Investment Committee Chair and helped guide the Foundation during the stock market downturn of 2002.

Advantage Trust Company (ATC) became a founding donor in 1999 and was the Foundation’s first outside investment manager for the Don and Evelyn Amend Fund. ATC has helped others in the community make a mark through the Foundation, managing 21 funds, the most of any outside investment manager. One of those funds is Mark and Julie’s, who have also designated a portion of their estate to the Foundation. In addition, ATC has also sponsored charitable giving workshops as an Education Partner and served on the Give Back 5 Community Giving Pledge planning committee.
