How to make my donation online

  1. Click on the “Donate” button.
  2. Enter in your donation amount and personal information.  (You don’t have to have a PayPal account to donate and can use your credit card.)
  3. Click on “Review Donation and Continue”
  4. If you are donating to a specific fund, click on the small box with the plus sign next to “Add special instructions to the seller,” and enter in the name of the fund.  If you are donating to multiple funds, list the name of each fund with the designated amount next to it.


* All credit/debit card donations are subject to a 2.2% processing plus 30¢ transaction fee.

** Each donor who enters their own credit/debit card information directly online is entering his/her data into a secure web portal provided by PayPal.  The Greater Salina Community Foundation assumes no liability for credit/debit card information provided by the donor to a third party.

Over $70,000 in student scholarships available for 2019-2020

  The Greater Salina Community Foundation is now accepting scholarship applications for the 2019-2020 school year. This year more than $70,000 will be distributed to area students through the foundation’s 31 scholarship funds. Eligible scholarship applicants include graduating high school seniors, current college students and non-traditional students. Each scholarship has a unique set of criteria established by donors to the foundation. Depending on the scholarship, awards range from $250 to $10,000, and some are renewable for up to four years. Community foundation to award grants on #GivingTuesday

The Greater Salina Community Foundation will kick off the giving season by presenting its latest round of community grants on November 27, 2018, which is #GivingTuesday. Founded in 2012, #GivingTuesday is a global movement that encourages people to do good in their communities by giving time, money or in-kind donations to causes they care about most. On Tuesday, the community foundation will award $28,500 to 12 charitable projects and organizations in Saline County.
